ABOUT
Jennifer Greb is a digital artist and media designer currently based in Washington D.C. She graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY with a B.A. in Communications and Digital Art. After graduation, she worked as a researcher and digital artist at Donna Lawrence Productions, aiding in the creation of award-winning films and immersive experiences including multi-screen, 4D, and 360° installations.
After fulfilling an array of roles in media production for museum and entertainment exhibitions internationally, Jennifer pursued a graduate degree in New Media Design and Production at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland. During her studies, she utilized a variety of technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality, and projected interfaces for demos, research, and contracted work. Additionally, She was employed by the Aalto Online Learning Team in the School of Computer Science. This team researched and produced technological practices for blended online and virtual learning. Her core contribution to the team was creating an interactive fulldome media environment.
After receiving her M.A., Jennifer was employed as a designer and production artist for an international virtual reality research project based at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe in Karlsruhe, Germany. During this project, she utilized Unity and Three.js to create interactive 3D web environments and produced design explorations and final production assets in UI, scenography, and motion design.
Jennifer currently works as a lead artist at Scattermesh, a technology and 3D studio creating film-quality digital humans. Jennifer utilizes Maya and Photoshop to aid in the production of photorealistic 3D characters. The team employs proprietary technology and innovative production pipelines to consistently push the boundaries of realism.
Jennifer is dedicated to creating imagery and stories that are passionately expressed and profoundly experienced through the convergence of art, media production, and computational practices. Programs that she is currently working with include Maya, Nuke, After Effects, Premiere, Unity, Three.Js, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Jennifer is currently accepting contract and commissioned work.
